Measure the complete door-frame width, add the selected side extension, multiply working width by the heading fullness, and measure the drop from the actual carrier, ring, or pole reference to the chosen floor clearance. Keep the operable door area and panel stack in the plan.

How to measure

    Measure the actual working rod or track width; if hardware is not installed, record the window-frame width and your planned side extensions separately.

    Measure the drop from the reference point stated for the selected heading—not from an unrelated edge of the window.

    Check whether a package contains one panel or a pair, then compare total flat fabric width rather than the label width alone.

    Recheck the selected product, tape, hooks, carriers, and fabric before ordering or cutting.

Choose the draw direction first

A one-way panel can stack away from the active door. A centered pair divides the fabric but can place a meeting point in the opening.

Use the full door span

Measure the outside frame or the actual installed track, not a single moving leaf.

Check floor clearance and stack-back

Door traffic makes both easier to notice. Preview the panel stack and verify the heading system before ordering.
